Klondike Derby 2013 - How they "tamed the lame"!
Opening ceremony for the Sandia District Klondike Derby
The LameTamers!
Off to the first station...
Pioneering station: Build a tower as high as you can!
Water break!
Prep for the sled race.
Wilderness survival task...
...build a shelter for 3.
Final covering. Other teams are floundering!
Why make it for three when you can make one the whole troop fits in?
It doesn't look pretty, but this was exceptional!
Our troop has a reputation for being (legal) firestarters :)
Can you cook a pancake on a fire you started in less than 5 min? Once it's done, Matthew had to flip it over his shoulder to Trace, who ate it to complete the challenge!
Hey! Who's putting out the fire "old school"?
The final tally. And the winner is (drum roll!)...
LameTamers! Team victory picture!
